More than 150 members of Eswatini Mobile’s sales team gathered at Inyatsi House this week for the company’s quarterly refresher training session, where they received words of encouragement and appreciation from Eswatini Mobile Chairman Michelo Shakantu and Eswatini Mobile Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sydney Sichula.

Addressing the gathering, the Chairman congratulated the sales team for their continued hard work, dedication and contribution to the growth of the company. He reminded employees that their efforts were central to Eswatini Mobile’s vision of becoming Africa’s leading integrated business partner, while also supporting His Majesty King Mswati III’s call for economic growth, innovation and private sector development.

Shakantu said the sales force was one of the most important pillars of the business, as they were responsible for representing the Eswatini Mobile brand directly to customers every day.

“The work that you do is key to the success of this organisation. You are our ambassadors in the marketplace and your dedication, professionalism and perseverance continue to contribute greatly to the company’s achievements,” said Shakantu.

He said achieving the company’s long-term vision would require a workforce that consistently places customers first, embraces new opportunities and maintains high standards of service delivery.

Eswatini Mobile Chairman Michelo Shakantu and CEO Sydney Sichula have commended the company’s sales team during a quarterly refresher training attended by more than 150 employees.

“The vision we have set for Eswatini Mobile is ambitious, and achieving it requires every one of us to play our part. Your engagement with customers and your pursuit of excellence will be critical in helping us realise that vision,” he said.

The Chairman further noted that the telecommunications industry was constantly evolving and required teams that were agile, knowledgeable and committed to meeting changing customer expectations.

CEO Sydney Sichula also commended the sales team for their efforts and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their respective roles.

Sichula described the quarterly refresher training as an important platform for empowering employees with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed in a competitive market.

“Our success as a business is driven by people. The determination and hard work shown by our sales teams across the country are helping us expand our reach, strengthen our relationship with customers and advance our vision of becoming Africa’s leading integrated business partner,” he said.

He added that every customer interaction presented an opportunity to showcase the value of the company’s products and services while highlighting the Eswatini Mobile brand.

Participants welcomed the opportunity to engage with the company’s leadership and described the interaction as both motivating and insightful.
