SOCCER – Young Buffaloes head coach Dominic Kunene is anticipating a tough battle as his side heads to King Sobhuza II Stadium tomorrow for a showdown against log leaders and defending champions Nsingizini Hotspurs.

Looking ahead to the MTN Premier League match, Kunene said he is expecting a tough challenge on the field but was quick to add that they have a plan to stop the opposition.

“Nsingizini is a good team, they are from the CAF Champions League and have some good players. We are playing an important match that requires us to go there with humility and respect. It will be a tough match, however, we have a plan to play, we will unleash that plan during the match. Another thing I like about such big matches is that the players are always motivated, they know the task at hand. Hence we have less job as coaches,” he said.

Nsingizini Hotspurs Public Relations Officer Mnotfo Dlamini said the players promised to put up a good fight against the army side.

“They are coming to us and we are a highly motivated team following the midweek win against Ezulwini United. The boys promised and coaches promised to put up a good fight. At this juncture, I would like to call our supporters to come and cheer the boys. They won’t be disappointed,” he said.

The reigning MTN Premier League champions beat Young Buffaloes twice last season, with a 1-0 win at Mayaluka Stadium before recording 2-0 at King Sobhuza II Stadium in the second round.
