Her Majesty the Indlovukazi has warned pastors to buy the truth and not sell it, drawing her sermon from Proverbs 23:23.

The Indlovukazi said those who commercialised the Word of God were acting against His will and moving away from the truth. She cautioned that some pastors were more concerned with attracting large numbers to their churches and, in the process, sought false powers to gain followers.

She said some were engaging in ungodly practices while pretending to praise God, while others were copying fellow pastors who prophesy and seeking evil powers to do the same.

Her Majesty reminded the congregation of the story of Joseph in Book of Genesis (Genesis 37), who received dreams from above and did not seek miracles elsewhere.

Joseph, though betrayed by his brothers and later imprisoned after false accusations, was ultimately elevated in Egypt because of his God-given gift of interpreting dreams.

“The Bible says buy the truth and do not sell it,” she emphasised, urging the nation to love God rather than money.

She encouraged Emaswati to examine themselves and choose God while they were still alive, rather than waiting until their final days.

Drawing from Joseph’s journey, the Indlovukazi said brethren and the nation would reach their divine purpose if they remained on God’s path.

Shock over church disputes

Her Majesty also expressed shock at public disputes within churches, noting that conflicts were no longer handled discreetly but exposed to the media.

She lamented that in the past—particularly within the Zion denomination—disagreements were resolved internally to preserve the dignity of the church.

Referring to the calling of Simon Peter in the Gospel of Matthew, she urged pastors to fish men toward truth and light rather than darkness.

She stressed that the truth brings healing, while lies destroy.
