LEADER of the Nazareth Baptist Church His Holiness Lunyazi Lwezulu has paid a courtesy visit to Her Majesty the Indlovukazi yesterday at Buhleni Royal Residence.


The religious leader was accompanied by an entourage that comprised of elders from the church both from the country and South Africa.

His Holiness was introduced to Her Majesty by Prince Gcina who is also a member of the Nazareth Baptist Church.

The religious leader arrived in the country on Tuesday through the Lavumisa Border Post for a two weeks prayer service.

He was welcomed by acting Minister of Home Affairs Chief Ndlaluhlaza Ndwandwe and Prince Mbuyisa upon arrival.

He was also welcomed by throngs of local church members in dance and song before he proceeded to the church’s headquarters at Esabelweni in Bethany.

The Shembe leader will also be part of the church’s two Saturday services before he returns to South Africa.

He will also pay a courtesy call to His Majesty King Mswati III who is currently on an official, state visit in Azerbaijan.

On another note, Chief Ndlaluhlaza has urged the nation to confirm news before they spread them stating that there was nothing sinister about the coming of Shembe into the country. He said churches have different practices and values.
