The woman linked to the brutal murder of her husband who was a retired officer has been arrested.
The woman aged 48 was arrested yesterday together with her daughter aged 25. The two, according to well-placed sources, were arrested at Ngculwini in the Manzini region.
The woman was on special leave following the murder of her husband as accusation fingers pointed at her.
The woman, employed as a cleaner at Hlatikulu Police Station, is implicated in the murder of Celani Vincent Motsa (62) who retired while based at the Hlatikulu Police Station having earlier served as part of former national commissioner of police Isaac Mmemo Magagula’s security detail where he was a chauffeur from 2009 to 2018.
In 2018 Magagula was redeployed to be a legislator while Motsa was posted to Hlatikulu Police Station.

Motsa, who retired while holding the rank of inspector, was allegedly attacked at a house he rented for his wife whom he had married through Swazi law and custom (kutekwa). He had allegedly brought grocery to the woman.
It is believed that Motsa’s killer is also married to the woman through Swazi law and custom. It is alleged that the man pounced on Motsa whom he found seated in the house. He was killed in the presence of the woman and her two daughters she has from a previous relationship.
The killer fled the scene but in less than 48 hours he was arrested. Sipho Hlatshwako of KaGodloza, KoNtshingila, stands accused of killing Motsa. He is now expected to be co-charged with the woman as it is understood that there was conspiracy in the way Motsa was killed.
Deputy Police Information and Communications Officer Assistant Superintendent Nosipho Mnguni confirmed that two women aged 48 and 25 have been arrested in connection with the murder of the 62-year-old pensioner.
