DUPS Funeral Home has invested about E20 million in opening a new branch in Nhlangano.
The branch which is still under construction is located close to Dunlop just across Nhlangano Park.
This was disclosed by Chief Executive Officer Nelisiwe De Sousa during the opening of United Holdings in Hlatikulu on Friday.
The CEI stated that construction of the structures was at an advanced stage and nearing completion.
“The project is expected to be complete before the end of the year. We are done with roofing and will soon move in the furniture and other things. It is a multimillion project estimated to be between E15 million to E20 million when including the machines and other items for use,” said De Sousa.
De Sousa said the Nhlangano Dups Funeral branch would also provide services also offered by United Holdings.
“We will be returning before the end of the year to open our funeral home in Nhlangano where all services offered by United Holdings will also be provided,” said De Sousa.
United Holdings officially opened its offices in Hlatikulu on Friday, a ceremony which attracted scores of people from Hlatikulu and surrounding areas. The group of companies Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nelisiwe De Sousa said opening the branch in Hlatikulu was meant to cut down travelling costs for customers.
She said United Holdings had the interest of its customers at heart and always considered how best they could meet them halfway.
“Having our offices here is a sign that we care and do not want to see customers inconvenienced whenever they need any of the services we offer.”
“We will also have Dups Herbal next door offering traditional remedies,” she said.
Meanwhile, Mtsambama Indvuna Yenkhundla Mzikayifani Jobe Kunene said the insurance company had made the right decision in having a branch at Hlatikulu.
Kunene said United Holdings remained a committed company and deserved support from all Emaswati.
Kunene said the branch would of great benefit to constituencies including Mtsambama, Nkwene, Engudzeni, Sandleni and Kumethula.
