MURDERED Motshane High School teacher Hlobsile Vilane (39) was scheduled to traditionally wed the now deceased lover Mduduzi Dlamini (47) this weekend.
This was revealed by the latter’s brother Andile Dlamini.
He said this was the more reason that he did not believe that his brother would kill Vilane.
According to Andile, the kuteka ceremony had initially been set for some weeks ago, but Vilane, whom he referred to as skoni (sister-in-law), asked for some time to set her house in order first.
He said it was later agreed by the couple that the ceremony would be this coming weekend.
Dlamini added that before the suicide incident, the initial plan was that Dlamini would return home today to prepare for the wedding.
However, he ended up coming home earlier following the discovery that his wife-to-be was dead.
Andile emphasised that at the time that Vilane reportedly left her house in Motshane, his brother was at work in South Africa and that there was no way he could be responsible for her death.
Leaves behind 5 children
The deceased Mduduzi Dlamini has left behind five children, with the youngest being only seven years old.
His brother Andile Dlamini said the eldest child was the 26-year-old son whom the deceased spoke to before committing suicide at his parental homestead.
Andile also mentioned that another minor child of the five lived with his brother’s lover Hlobsile Vilane who was a teacher at Motshane High School. All this, according to Andile, were signs that there were no issues between the couple.
