It was a vibrant and energetic weekend as Eswatini Mobile brought its energy to two exciting activations at the University of Eswatini (UNESWA) Kwaluseni Campus and Mankayane Bus Rank, blending fun, prizes and meaningful engagement with customers.

While the atmosphere was filled with music, games and laughter, the activations also served a clear purpose, to familiarise customers with the improved No Frills bundles and to educate students on the Tertiary Student Bundle.

At Mankayane Bus Rank, the red team took the improved No Frills offering directly to the people. Between games and giveaways, commuters and residents were walked through the product enhancements, with simple and relatable explanations on how the bundles make it easier to stay connected without complications.

The activation created a relaxed space where customers could ask questions, share experiences and better understand how the improved No Frills fit into their everyday lives. It highlighted how data has become an essential part of daily living, from communication and entertainment to staying informed and connected.

Meanwhile, at UNESWA Kwaluseni Campus, the focus shifted to students, with Eswatini Mobile turning the spotlight on the Tertiary Student Bundle. With data now at the centre of modern learning, students were drawn into a conversation about how the bundle supports research, online classes and collaboration.

Even with the educational focus, the fun never stopped. Students threw themselves into lively competitions, with cheers and excitement rippling across the campus as music and performances kept the energy high.

One of the standout moments was the grand prize winner, Tanya Carimo, who walked away with a Samsung smartphone after purchasing a Tertiary Student Bundle.

“I really wanted this phone and kept enquiring about it,” she said. “I am so happy I ended up winning it just by buying a bundle. I didn’t expect it at all.”

Over in Mankayane, the giveaways kept spirits high throughout the day. Albert Vilakati won E110 worth of airtime, while Nomcebo Tsela and Fundi Ngwenya each walked away with E350. The biggest prize of the day, E1000 in e-Mali, drew even more participants into the excitement.

From campus grounds to busy bus ranks, Eswatini Mobile proved that connecting with customers can be both informative and fun, while reinforcing the growing importance of data in everyday life and education.
