The first prize winner of the EswatiniBank Cashback Competition, Daniel Nkalanga, says he has developed a strong sense of belonging with the bank, in line with its famous hashtag, #YouBelong.

Speaking during the prize handover ceremony at EswatiniBank in Mbabane, Nkalanga said receiving his cheque of E5 000 felt like an early Christmas present for him and his family.

Nkalanga, who is no stranger to winning competitions, shared his secret to success,  reading the Eswatini Observer consistently.

“I buy and read the newspaper every day, which allows me to tear the competition strip and fill in the answers,” he said.

He also credited his faith for his good fortune.

“I make sure that every amount of money I have, including what I win, I pay 10% tithe,” Nkalanga said.

Other lucky winners present to collect their prizes included:

  • Msutfu Nkambule – E2 000

  • Mavis Dlamini – E1 500

  • Siboniso Masilela – E1 000
