Celebrated artist Bholoja is set to make a musical statement with his first release of 2026, a heartfelt tribute to His Majesty King Mswati III.
The song, titled Uyezwa Na, according to Bholoja, celebrates the king’s forenames and praise songs, urging listeners to reconnect with their roots and culture.
“This project is not just a musical endeavour but a cultural statement, reminding the nation of its roots and importance of unity under the king’s leadership,” he said.
Bholoja shared that the inspiration behind Uyezwa Na came from a deep place in his heart.
“These kinds of songs should come naturally, as it did for me, because music is created out of honesty. It was something from my heart, a song I can stand by and tell the story of how it came about,” he explained.
He stated how he was waiting for the right moment to release such a tribute, and now felt this was the perfect time.
He also expressed his regret for missing the Sibaya (People’s Parliament), which he considered a vital gathering for all citizens, artists included.
“Two years ago, I was very intentional on attending but was booked outside the country and could not go. I see Sibaya as a place where the country is built and where everyone’s voice is heard. It is my mission to attend the next one,” he added.

Bholoja said the production of Uyezwa Na was supported by Chromosomes Entertainment’s executive producer and founder, August Thobela, who is originally from Eswatini but based in South Africa.
He stated that Thobela’s belief in the project underscored the shared love and respect for the king and Swati culture among those involved. Bholoja was also backed by prominent instrumentalists, including Fresh Khumalo, a bassist from Eswatini now living in South Africa, and Thando ‘Magic Keys’ Mathebula, a pianist renowned for his work on Idols SA’s band.
He stated that their contributions had enriched the song’s sound, giving it a polished, authentic feel.

The artist’s plans do not end with the audio release. Bholoja said he aims to collaborate with Tribe Studios owner and Director Sibusiso ‘Sparks’ Dlamini to produce a music video for Uyezwa Na.
Sparks expressed his enthusiasm for the project, praising Bholoja’s artistry.
“We are more than happy to help him achieve what he wants with the video and cannot wait to work with him when he reaches out,” Sparks said.
With this release, Bholoja said he hoped to inspire fellow citizens to embrace their heritage and celebrate the monarchy through music. He added that the song would soon be available on digital platforms, marking a significant milestone with this first new music after a considerable hiatus, and a sincere homage to the King.
…To release gospel album
RENOWNED singer Bholoja is ready to surprise fans in 2026 by venturing into a variety of musical genres beyond his upcoming tribute Uyezwa Na.
The singer plans to release a gospel album, several electro and Afro house singles, and continue his signature Swazi Soul series with Swazi Soul 4.
Explaining his ambitious plans, Bholoja said,
“People should expect the unexpected with me this year. I will be releasing singles in electro and Afro house music, alongside two albums Swazi Soul 4 and Bholoja Swati Soul Gospel 1.”
He explained his motivation behind exploring different genres, stating,
“We only live once on this earth. If God has given you a gift, use it to your fullest capabilities. Me stepping into different genres is me trying to break the habit that artists have of limiting themselves to one genre. You are limiting your resources if you stick to just one. If I could, I’d also do hiphop,” he joked.
Bholoja encouraged fellow artists to “not confine yourself, spread your wings and achieve more not just creatively, but also to open more job opportunities.”

He shared that his journey into gospel music was deeply personal.
“My love for God and the need to worship Him inspired this direction. He gave me my singing talent, so I show my gratitude through music. I grew up under the Church of the Nazarene and was born with the Gospel. I am confident I can pull off an album using the hymns book, anything is possible when expressed in my style.”
To help bring this vision to life, Bholoja said he had reached out to established gospel musicians, including South African gospel singer, pianist, songwriter, and producer Nqubeko Mbatha.
In addition to gospel, Bholoja has already recorded several electro and Afro house tracks.
“I have done two electro and Afro house songs with Chromosomes Entertainment, two electro house songs with John Sisk from Zimbabwe, and collaborated on three Afro house songs with local DJs Sibu Manzini, DJ Cup and Mayas,” he said.
“I think that will be more than enough music from me this year,” Bholoja added. “I do not have exact release dates yet, but expect these projects to come out in stages.”
