South African DJ Morda delivered an electrifying performance at Solani’s Shisanyama during the Ligwalagwala FM 44th Birthday Tour on Saturday, thrilling fans despite light rainfall.
The night unfolded with high anticipation as revellers gathered as early as midday, setting the tone for what would become a vibrant celebration of music and energy.
The event opened with South African DJ The Prince before transitioning into a line-up of local acts who kept the atmosphere alive throughout the day. As the hours progressed, excitement steadily built among the crowd, with each performance adding to the growing momentum ahead of the headline act.
By midnight, the energy had reached its peak as Morda prepared to take over the stage from TBoy. The announcement of his arrival sparked loud cheers, with fans visibly eager, standing on their toes and pushing closer to the stage.
The excitement was evident in the roaring chants and the electrified mood that swept across the venue as the DJ made his entrance.
A light drizzle began to pour during the performance, but it did little to disrupt the spirit of the night. Instead, the crowd remained fully engaged, dancing and singing along as Morda delivered a powerful one-hour set.

“I am really grateful for the love and support from the crowd,” he stated.
He further revealed that this was his fifth time at Solani’s and that the energy he gets is always amazing.
