FIVE promising youth-led digital health solutions have received a major boost after sharing E50 000 in prize money during the MTN Enactus Digital Health Solutions Fair 2026.

Held under the banner of the MTN 21 Days of Yellow Care campaign, the competition celebrated innovative technology-driven solutions aimed at addressing some of the country’s most pressing healthcare and social challenges.

Each of the five winning teams walked away with E10 000 in seed funding to further develop their platforms.

The winning projects were Donor Connect, Shift Flow, Lulama Chat Eswatini, Mede Uphoria and Health Connect Eswatini.

Shift Flow founder Sandlasenkhosi Dlamini expressed excitement, saying the funding would help accelerate the development of the platform.

Dlamini explained that Shift Flow seeks to address unemployment among nurses by creating opportunities for qualified healthcare professionals to provide temporary healthcare services through the application.

“We are happy to have won. This app will help address the challenge of unemployment among nurses by providing a temporary solution that allows them to earn an income while offering essential healthcare services,” he said.

Five youth-led digital health projects shared E50 000 in seed funding at the MTN Enactus Digital Health Solutions Fair 2026 under the 21 Days of Y’ello Care campaign.

Meanwhile, Lulama Chat Eswatini Chief Executive Officer Bandile Mnisi said the prize money would play a crucial role in expanding the platform’s reach and effectiveness.

Mnisi explained that the application focused on bridging gaps in mental health support for young people by offering digital consultations, guidance and timely responses to users seeking assistance.

“We are pleased with this achievement. The funding will enable us to expand the application and conduct proper trials that will help us refine the platform and better address mental health challenges facing the youth,” said Mnisi.

The Digital Health Solutions Fair formed part of MTN’s annual 21 Days of Yellow Care initiative, which promotes community development and social impact through technology and innovation.

Other winning teams shared similar sentiments, describing the prize money as a game-changer that would help transform their ideas into fully operational solutions capable of making a meaningful difference in communities across the country.
