The highly anticipated second edition of The MoMo Xperience has been officially launched at the MTN Headquarters, promising an unforgettable festival filled with remarkable talent and innovation.
The brains behind the show, Culolam expressed enthusiasm about this year’s festival, which aims to showcase only the finest in the entertainment industry.
“We want to bring the best of the best to our audience. This year’s festival is all about quality,” Culolam stated during the unveiling of the first phase of the line-up.
Among the stellar names announced, South African artists Mthunzi Ndimande and Nontokozo Mkhize are set to take the stage, along with a line-up of local talent, including the award-winning Velemseni, Karly B, Zwile and the electrifying DJ Rekorder.
The MoMo Xperience has been made possible through the generous support of various sponsors, with MTN Eswatini standing out as the main sponsor.
Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Stanley Dlamini said the partnership highlighted the importance of corporate engagement in cultural events, and their commitment to supporting local artists is commendable.
Dlamini praised the festival’s first edition, highlighting its success and the positive feedback received from attendees.
“Last year’s festival set a high standard, and we are thrilled to see the curators maintaining that level of excellence. The innovation and safety measures during the festival were particularly impressive,” he added.
One of the standout features of the first edition was the ease of purchasing tickets through the MoMo application, which Dlamini noted significantly enhanced the overall experience.
“Purchasing tickets via MoMo was as easy as a few taps on your phone, allowing more people to enjoy the festival without the hassle of long queues,” he explained.
