KHULA Group has announced the appointment of former MTN Eswatini CEO Wandile Mtshali as Group Chief Executive Officer.
According to a statement released by Khula Group, the move marks a significant milestone in the company’s evolution as a leading artificial intelligence (AI) and automation consultancy in the country.
The group stated that Mtshali assumes the role with a clear mandate to accelerate enterprise digital transformation, scale AI adoption and position the kingdom as a proactive participant in the global digital economy.
It was stated that his appointment underscores Khula Group’s commitment to strengthening governance, institutional credibility and long-term national impact.
The group further announced that former managing partner, now Group Chief Growth Officer Arvy Shongwe, will continue to lead brand, growth and strategic positioning across the organisation.
“This appointment signals our maturity as an organisation. Mtshali brings executive depth, national credibility and strategic networks that will significantly accelerate our mission,” said Shongwe.

Group Chief Operating Officer Sean Ammon added that the leadership transition strengthens Khula’s ability to execute at scale.
“Mtshali’s leadership experience, combined with Khula’s technical and operational capabilities, positions us to deliver meaningful digital transformation outcomes for businesses and institutions across the region,” he said.
Meanwhile, Mtshali said the country needed to move from consuming global technologies to building local capability and competitive intelligence.
