MBABANE — Eswatini Sugar has issued an open invitation to registered companies to tender for the supply of packaging materials, marking a significant procurement opportunity within the country’s agricultural and manufacturing sectors.
As the apex umbrella body representing the kingdom’s sugar millers and growers, Eswatini Sugar oversees crucial industry functions, most notably the marketing and distribution of sugar and molasses across local and international markets.
According to an official procurement notice issued by the organisation, proposals are being invited for two major packaging lots:

Supply of 25 kg and 50 kg sugar bags

Supply of 1,000 kg, 1,075 kg, and 1,200 kg bulk sugar bags, as well as bag slings
Tender Purchase and Timelines
Qualifying businesses interested in bidding must acquire an official electronic Request for Proposal (RFP) document. The tender dossier is available starting Monday, 21 September 2026, through the Executive Administration Officer via email at phumlile@eswatinisugar.co.sz.
Prospective bidders are required to pay a non-refundable fee of E500.00 via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Banking details will be furnished upon formal request.

Companies aiming to participate should note that the window to purchase the RFP document is strictly limited, closing on Friday, 25 September 2026 at 16:30.
Submission Deadline
The final deadline for the submission of completed bids is Thursday, 15 October 2026 at 10:00.
Management has cautioned that late bids or submissions delivered outside the stipulated guidelines will be rejected automatically. Full compliance instructions and technical submission specifications are detailed inside the RFP pack.
