A brand-new OMODA C5 car and other prizes totalling E600 000 are up for grabs courtesy of MTN Eswatini’s latest customer reward campaign, the ‘MTN Cash and Keys Promotion’.
Speaking during the official launch held at the MTN Headquarters in Ezulwini, MTN acting Chief Executive Officer Jerry Soko said the promotion builds on the success of the mobile giant’s long-running 7080 platform, which has rewarded customers with prizes valued at more than E7.2 million over the past six years.
Soko said the platform has become one of MTN’s most successful customer engagement initiatives, attracting thousands of participants from across the country and creating life-changing opportunities for winners.
“Today, we are taking that success to another level, the ‘MTN Cash and Keys Promotion’ is designed to reward our loyal customers while also creating an engaging and educational experience,” he said.
He noted that the promotion, which runs from June to September, is open to customers aged 18 years and above. To participate, customers are required to subscribe by sending the word ‘Join’ to 7080 at a cost of E2 per day.
He further stressed that participants would have to answer questions, earn points and increase their chances of winning cash prizes as well as the grand prize vehicle. Soko explained that the initiative goes beyond simply rewarding customers, as many of the questions featured on the platform are designed to educate participants about the kingdom and global affairs.
Topics covered include the country’s history, culture, geography, sports and current affairs, making the promotion both entertaining and informative.
“What makes this promotion unique is that customers are learning while they play. It is a platform that combines education with excitement and rewards,” he said.
He then reaffirmed MTN’s commitment to delivering value to its customers through innovative products and services that create meaningful experiences. “We want every interaction with our network to provide value, excitement and opportunities to win,” he said.
