Jesus Calls Worship Centre International has described the late Pastor Princess Lindiwe as a faithful servant of God, a pillar of the church and beloved mother following her death.
In a statement announcing her passing, the church said it was mourning the loss of a cherished leader whose life, wisdom, love and commitment to the work of the Lord and the nation had touched the lives of its members.
“She was a faithful and devoted servant of God, a pillar of our church family and a person whose life, wisdom, love and commitment to the work of the Lord and the nation touched the lives of us all,” the church said.
The church said while it mourned Princess Lindiwe, it also drew comfort from the promise contained in the Bible that those who die in the Lord will rest from their labour.
The church extended its deepest condolences to Their Majesties, the royal family, the bishop, the Kasaro family and the Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini.
The condolences were also extended to friends within the ministry of home affairs, both locally and internationally, relatives, friends and all those who had been blessed to know and walk alongside the late princess.
The church called for continued prayers, love and support for the bishop and the family during the mourning period. It said further details regarding the funeral and memorial arrangements would be communicated in due course.
The church said Princess Lindiwe’s death had left the Jesus Calls Worship Centre International family with a deep sense of loss, describing her as its “beloved mother”.
“May the soul of Her Royal Highness, our beloved mother rest in peace,” the church said.
Princess Lindiwe served as minister of home affairs before her death. Her passing was announced by Prime Minister Russell Dlamini, who said the nation had lost a devoted public servant.
The church, in the statement also invoked Psalm 34:18, which says: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
