South African singer Naledi Aphiwe is set to return to the country later this month as the headline act for Ladies Thursday Night at Mdzimba View Shisanyama.
The award-winning artist will perform on August 27 at an event organised by Dlalamnandzi Events as part of Madonsela’s birthday celebration.
Naledi rose to international prominence after her vocals featured on Chris Brown’s hit song Shooter, introducing her talent to a global audience and helping launch a music career that continues to grow across Southern Africa.
Known for her Afro-pop sound and energetic stage performances, the singer has built a loyal fan base in the country through a series of successful performances.
She first performed locally alongside Mawelele at Ehawini Lifestyle in Ngculwini in April last year, before returning as one of the headline acts at the Eswatini Biggest Braai.
She later reunited with Mawelele for another crowd-pleasing performance at Mpaka Recreational Club on June 14.
Her upcoming appearance at Mdzimba View Shisanyama will add to her growing list of performances in the country and is expected to attract music lovers from across the country.
She will share the stage with local entertainers Virus X, Lady Zee, Sergy, Stella Jacobs, Zulu D, Sbu De Drum DJ and Culolami, as well as resident DJ.
MC Sintour will host the event.
Organisers said the show would celebrate women while treating fans to an evening of live music and entertainment.
General pre-sale tickets cost E80 and will increase to E120 at the gate.
VIP tickets are available for E200 during the pre-sale period and E300 at the gate.
Tickets are available at all Galito’s outlets, Moja Ticket and Mdzimba View Shisanyama.
With Naledi’s popularity continuing to grow in the country, organisers are expecting another strong turnout for what promises to be one of the month’s biggest entertainment events.
